About the University Development Center

University Development Center is a special unit that has its technical, financial and administrative independence, in accordance with Article 307 of the Executive Regulations of Law the organization of universities No. 49 of 1972.

The message of the University Development Center stems from the need of Mansoura University to have an experienced house where its activities centers on the field of developing the administrative and the academic performance in fields of teaching, research, consultation and training to  achieve the goals of sustainable development. This is an age where the pace of development and the requirements of continuous change are accelerating,and is filled with new mechanisms that were not known or available since few years. From this standpoint, the message of the center is identified to carry out activities related to developing the academic performance in an overall sense including, training activities, services, technical and administrative consults, research activities, analytical and field studies, and evaluating the performance of units, faculty staff, and employees of the university.As well as, designing systems and programs of the overall quality, developing creativity in all elements of the academic performance, and following up its implementation through a futuristic strategic perspective.

Origin and development.

The center was established in accordance with the approval of Supreme Council of Universities Resolution No.129 on 1\12\2003, and the approval of the university council on 29\9\2003.
