Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarik Hafez, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies, held a meeting with Prof. Dr. John Fayez, Deputy Director of the Center for Electronic and Knowledge Services at the Supreme Council of Universities, Prof. Mohamed Hassan, Director of the Central Technology Training Unit. This meeting came on the sidelines of the training program “Training the Trainers in “Basics of Digital Transformation,” which is implemented by the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center at the Supreme Council of Universities and hosted by the University Performance Development Center at Mansoura University under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University.

The meeting discussed the “Basics of Digital Transformation” certificate and the national project for digital literacy. It also addressed the importance of obtaining the test and certificate in line with the state’s plan for digital transformation and to achieve the goals of sustainable development and Egypt’s 2030 vision.

The progress of Mansoura University in many international classifications was also discussed as a result of advancing scientific research and increasing publishing incentives for male and female researchers in various fields.

Representatives of the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center at the Supreme Council of Universities praised the level of trainees at the University Performance Development Center at the university. They also pointed out that this group is considered one of the best and largest groups in terms of number, as about 50 trainees from the faculty and administrative staff at the University Performance Development Center and the Technology Center participate in the training.
